How to protect your child on-line?
It goes without saying that you wouldn't want any indecent people to harm your child while he or she is communicating over the Internet. Additionally, you wouldn't want your child to be psychologically abused by an inappropriate content of the adult web sites. What can you do?
There are several possible solutions:
- First of all, you can forbid using Internet, but this can cause undesirable consequences.
- Second, you can move the computer to some open area in your house, though this can also be rather inconvenient.
- Third, you can sit next to your child when he/she uses Internet, this can be equal to the first variant with forbidding.
You face the dilemma: you have to be aware of hypothetical dangers, at the same time you do not want to invade your child's privacy. There is an acceptable way out. You can install parental control software on the PC, for example Powered Keylogger or any other.
This can be helpful in several ways: no one would even know that you control computer activity, you will always know what is going on, you will be able to view the reports whenever it is suitable for you, you will be able to avert any negative impact.
There exist a lot of keyloggers which you can install to protect your child, many of them are free to try, so you can choose the one you like best.
